SM Scholarship Program School Year 2012-2013
The SM College Scholarship
Program of SM Foundation, Inc. is now accepting applicants for school year
2012-2013.
SM College Scholars must be
graduates of public high schools with total household income of at most P150,000
per year, and fourth year weighted average grade of at least 88% in the second
or third grading period.
In order to apply, applicants
must completely fill out the SM College Scholarship application form, and
attach clear photocopy of F138 or 4th year high school report card
with the second and third grading period’s weighted average, the certificate of
passing the entrance test in school of choice (if applicable) and photocopy of
2010 Income Tax Return (ITR) or Certificate of Non-filing of Income.
Submit the accomplished
application form and all required documents to the Customer Service Counters of
SM Department Store Bacolod and Mall Admin Office of SM City Bacolod on or
before December 20, 2011.
Qualified applicants will be
notified of their schedule of interview and IQ Test next year through telephone
call and text message from SM Foundation in Manila. Only fully accomplished
application forms, accompanied by all the required documents will be processed.

application forms are available at SM Department Store, SM Supermarket and Mall
Admin Office of SM City Bacolod.
The SM College Scholarship
Program was established by SM Foundation in 1993 to help provide quality
education to bright but underprivileged public high school graduates. The
program has over 900 college scholars nationwide. The scholars are enrolled in
73 colleges and universities in NCR, Baguio, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna,
Lucena, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Rizal, Tarlac, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu,
Davao, Iloilo. To date, 1180 scholars have graduated from the program and many
of them are gainfully employed with the SM Group of Companies and other
companies here and abroad.
