47 local employers will join the 3rd SM Supermalls Nationwide Job Fair on May 1, 2010 from 10AM – 5PM at the Northwing Event Centre of SM City Bacolod.

The National Manpower Registry Sheet or the NMRS Form which is a requirement for registration at the Job Fair will be distributed at 8:30AM on the same day at the North 3 Entrance of the mall.

Themed “Manggagawang Pilipino, Kaagapay sa Pagbabago,” Job Fair 2010 is organized in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Employment, Public Employment Services Office and the Local Government Units to salute the Pinoy Working Force, and to lessen the inconveniences of job seekers and to help as many people as possible find employment especially during this time of unprecedented global challenges.

Around 5,000 job opportunities will be offered by the following participating companies :

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and National  Conciliation and Mediation Board will also be available to provide assistance to the public. DOLE's Nurses Assigned in Rural Service (NARS) Project will also provide free blood pressure checkup during the Job Fair. Part of the activity is the showcase the livelihood programs of DOLE that provide livelihood opportunities to interested clients. It will include display of products of livelihood program beneficiaries.
