SM City Bacolod, as part of its environmental sustainability initiatives, has conducted a Green Retail Agenda Seminar with focus on environmental conservation held at the mall's Northwing Event Centre recently. 


Resource Speakers were Benedicto Sanchez, program coordinator of Broad Initiatives for Negros Development and Atty. Jocelle Bata Sigue of Bacolod Negros Earth Day Convenors. Sanchez tackled Non-timber forest products with focus on Handicrafts as forest conservation measure while Sigue lectured on Best Practices on local policies on climate change adaptation and mitigation measures.

It was participated by SM employees, tenants personnel, and shoppers. SM Supermalls is committed to promote environment programs and contribute to the protection of the environment.
